Those of you that get loads of 1p items, how do you do it. Last time I did it, I did not dare get more than 6, and got a few other items too to try and hide them, but hearing of people getting 20 or more, how?? lol

:rotfl::rotfl: I can answer this thanks to a fellow elite member:D:D:D

put all 1p items in basket/trolley......approach self serve......look a bit shifty........enlist the help of a very chatty elite member with nerves of steal to approach the self serve supervisor and engage her in conversation...........

scan your items at leisure.......whilst giggling at the diversion tactics of a brilliant mser!!!!

She almost had to resort to complimenting the trout on her earrings as a pack of erasers broke open all over self serve resulting in the till having a hissy fit......quick action by said mser making the trout actually turn away from the screen :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I really dont know whether I was shaking with laughter at the conversation or shaking with excitement of 1p items :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

:D:D juju17 you have balls of steel and must have kissed the Blarney Stone numerous times...thanks for a hilarious few hours:rotfl::rotfl:

Very good advise I remember Lala getting 2 hundred boxes of cream eggs I was with her when she got the first hundred but chickened out:eek: when she went back in for the second lot. She used to do so many at a time then pay never did them all at once her logic was best have some rather than them take them all off you;)

She was one of best and bravest glitchers :T:T And one of the best natured - loved her tales of derring-do and miss her on here greatly. Hope she is flying high and currently pulling in hoards of 1p goodies with you xx

Hmmm - Jam Doughnuts 5 pack showing N/A for Morries on msm (no trace online on m.com) but are 2 for £1 instore. Might still compare on APG as is APG still using instore collections? Not that I'd buy them now vs Morries, when they were slight glitch vs T a few weeks earlier! (I had enough doughnuts then - don't need any till hopefully they glitch again:rotfl:.)

Also Cadbury's Sponge Puddings 2x110g - a potential Tvs M item (will T pick up the M price from instore collection though - or has it switched to online information while I've not been able to look and still trying to keep up?). Showing M as N/A on msm although that is irrelevant. (I noticed, of course, the puddings were not on m.com:rotfl::rotfl:.)

I am liking this M on msm novelty though! (Might be a several years-long novelty with me - you never know!:D)

Righto, I am really off now, perhaps for a short time, then back later!:)
  • Reminder that there's also a 50p printable

;) And steady your bag, whilst pressing each item into bag to register, thus avoiding

'Unexpected item in the bagging area please wait for assistance' :(

But random waffling today got me through this :D with SA as I asked her about the food in pub over the road

Really thought the game was over when the call went up. All due to my careless hasty packing of a bottle of pop that rolled :o

And don't have your dad with you who picks up the bags of shopping before you have paid:eek: over comes the SA and takes the lot:mad::rotfl:
