Must be a new round of invites:j:j
So jealousMind you, got the Buzz Mccain invite yesterday, and 2 from T panels today - wheelie bin liners and whitening toothpaste. Just in time, need some more wheelie bin liners

davemorton wrote: »Those of you that get loads of 1p items, how do you do it. Last time I did it, I did not dare get more than 6, and got a few other items too to try and hide them, but hearing of people getting 20 or more, how?? lol
Practice - the more times you do it the easier it is, so get startedI tend to have a basket full of stuff and put the things I want most at the top. Just keep scanning, but have 50p or whatever in your hand. If anyone comes to have a nose, calmly press finish and pay asap and pop your money in the machine - once paid for its yours
Quite often they think you are finished and lose interest or wander off to see to someone else, so just stay put and start on the next batch from your basket, coin in hand and so on. Make sure you scan all the tried and tested 1pers first - leave any guesses/try outs till last in case they make the machine have a hissy fit
I prefer to put through in smaller batches just in case it goes wrong somewhere, and then at least I get to take home as many goodies as poss. Often scan 4 or 5 shops straight afte each other.
Or sometimes I pick up a dozen items, scan and pay, wander back to pick up another dozen, and so on.
By far the coolest way is to pull a full box off the top shelf and get the SA to put through as a multiple - not for the faint hearted and have never been brave enough to do this - yetOnly time I have been brave enough to ask the SA to put through as multiples was when the Hartleys jellies were glitching, and we were picking up several of the 12 trays at a time - can't remember why now, but I know we were eating jelly for some considerable time :rotfl:
Go for it - you are dead lucky if you've got 20 plus items available to have a shot at0 -

Big thanks to Savvy. Hope you enjoy your well earned retirement lol. You have been amazing with your helpful lists. The time you have put in is unbelievable !
Thankyou
Hi. What's with the 'retirement'?;) Are M on msm or something?:) Of course I've just read back, and apparently they are - I'll have to go and see that soon!
Just returned with a couple of wombles - one not yet three hours old - but the first one, this uselessness(?) - the BE Waffles not going onto my list as I don't think that's good enough (might be helpful to someone with Bird's Eye MOCs that doesn't shop in Northern Ireland) - usually I think it's own brand Waffles Avs T (but still yet to catch up fully with T's prices - or M's on msm:rotfl::rotfl:).

And these old news as well - didn't I mention them on Tuesday? Or maybe post them on my Avs M preview even if I didn't let you in on the price!?!0 -
Ooh, in my despair at having the Lindors snatched away at the last moment, I almost forgot - because 1 bottle was missing from my £36 T's mystery case of wine, they have refunded me £10 and added 1000 clubcard points to my account :j:j:j
So that's 11 bottles for £26, plus the points :T:T
Maybe life is not so bad after all :rotfl:0
