Apart from making a curry from scratch once, i cant recall ever buying or needing a piece of ginger before, just really curious as to what people do with it.
Sometimes I put a little piece of ginger in a cup of hot water, squeeze in some lemon and honey. Makes such a luxurious hot drink when I'm feeling sorry for myself0 -
Just got 240 Twinings everyday tea bags in poundstretcher for £3.79.

Round 3 of the penny hunt for me (and probably my last for a bit). I have a quick n00b question for you all, with the hand held scanners do you use them just to check the price or do you use them to scan and pay for shopping as well? Not used them before and don't want to get clocked! Thanks in advance'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -

My poor kitty cat has possibly broke his leg
No idea how it's happened, I let him out at 5.30 this morning and he was fine. God knows what has happened between then and lunchtime.:(
Oh no poor thing, hope you are insured for him, it cost us a fortune when mine broke his leg.0 -

From what I hear, the scanners won't pick up the 1p bargains most of the time. But I would not knowI haven't been lucky at all in the 1p hunt, I think someone got there before me.
