    Hi

More of a lurker and look on in awe at the 1p bargains you are all getting.

Posting now as I think I have found a glitch on the Ariel again. Picked up a C&C today, expected to be charged the £5.20 as glitch is over.

However, there is a promotional discount on the bottom of the receipt of £8.80. Promotion is Laundry gels 2 for £6. Also check the APG, and it is comparing the £5.20 vs £3 T.

Promotion not showing on either A's or MSM. ;)

    Hope this helps.

    PS. I am in Scotland.

this is a good spot, I see its only bold in the offer on a.com
for this to work the ariel needs to be £5.20 in the store you shop in. as aau asked, what type of ariel did you get please.
I picked up a C&C an hour ago.. Same shows for me. ButI got two of the COLOUR ariel (purple lid). Receipt shows £5.20 x 2, with a discount of £4.40 on the 2 for £6 promo. Can't yet check my APG online as it's saying ive not yet picked up. Waiting for it to update then i can post APG results.

    What another veritable smorgasbord:D

Lots of heartache stories too. I wondered why you were sad_dad, sad dad..........I hope you are a happy dad too sometimes:o

Loving all the 1p stories...nothing....absolutely nothing for me.

The most exciting part of my day occurred on a training course when I spotted a big box of PG Tips in the kitchen. I am determined to get Tyger her t towels:D

Twice I went in and tried to memorise the code on the packet and failed. The third time I took my glitching notebook and pencil.i was just writing it down when someone walked in and for some obscure reason I told them I needed the code off the fire extinguisher.

    There was just silence.
Oh TM, that did make me laugh. Thanks so much btw :D It's the second pair of pink and green cups I'm after, they are what i have my morning cuppa in :D :kisses3:

  • I love Ginger tea.

I put the shredded Ginger in a cup, and pour over boiling water, I add honey or lemon. Sometimes a touch of Cinnamon. If a few bits of Ginger go down - all the better. Leave as much in the bottom as possible, and top up with more hot water when empty.

Lasts for at least three mugs of tea.

Just a word of warning: Ariel £3 at Tisco ends today (29/1) so this is the last day of comparing to Tisco.

I know it was comparing to Morries but I don't know if this is still going or when it ends. (They don't show the small packs on M.com)

Just checked my comparsion results and it compares to Morries for the Bio but not Febreeze.

    Thank you for your e-mail.

There are rare occasions when discontinued products go beyond the "reduced to clear" period, and the value will be reduced to a penny on our tills. We look to remove these items from sale.

We are not legally obliged to offer the customer products for 1pence, as the Shelf Edge Label would have been marked up with the full price. However, the stores should be encouraged to allow the sale to go through for 1p, but it is up to the Managers discretion as to whether he/she will allow it.

Thank you for taking the time to contact us
