    Greetings. :D

Bit of a traumatic start to the day this morning. Had to be up washed, dressed and the kitchen cleared by 8am as the builders were starting on the new ceiling in there today. I was in the kitchen when I heard a rumbling noise in the courtyard outside. Went outside a moment later and our big gates which I keep locked for security and to keep the dogs safe had blown open, and DD's dog Alfie, a keen escapologist, is nowhere to be seen!! As we live on a major A road I was horrified. Fortunately the other two dogs were still in their baskets in the kitchen, so I set off in pursuit. Tried the gardens of the hotel opposite first, no joy there so I proceeded round the village, and eventually found a nice lady who'd seen him with another lady about half a mile away, so I was able to reclaim him. The relief! Alfie of course was completely unabashed, absolutely filthy and it was tipping it down with rain, so I was muddy and had no hairstyle whatsoever by t he time I got him home. So I then had to bath him, and then one of the builders didn't turn up so I'd got up early and cleared the kitchen for nothing!

I think I have found a glitch on the Ariel again. Picked up a C&C today, expected to be charged the £5.20 as glitch is over.

However, there is a promotional discount on the bottom of the receipt of £8.80. Promotion is Laundry gels 2 for £6. Also check the APG, and it is comparing the £5.20 vs £3 T.

Promotion not showing on either A's or MSM. ;)

    Hope this helps.

    PS. I am in Scotland.
this is a good spot, I see its only bold in the offer on a.com
for this to work the ariel needs to be £5.20 in the store you shop in. as aau asked, what type of ariel did you get please.

Now what can I make with 12p worth of ginger?

    Ginger Tea
    http://vegetarian.about.com/od/morerecipes/r/GingerTea.htm
4-6 thin slices raw ginger (as thin as possible)
    375ml - 500ml water
juice from 1/2 lime, or to taste
    1-2 tbsp honey
Boil the sliced ginger in water for at least 10 minutes, or 20 mins for a tangier taste. Remove from heat and add lime juice and honey to taste.

    - good for stress relief, to get over the shock of having to spend 12p on the ginger:)

Too right! :) We should have called him Fagin, he's the most appalling food thief and can jump about 4 times his own height if there's something interesting on the kitchen island. I've never had a dog like him, he does exactly as he wants and doesn't give a monkey's. He counterbalances this with oodles of charm and schmoozing - serves us right for agreeing DD could have a French dog! :rotfl:

The last time I bought ginger as a filler, it cost me 1p, but the APG saw it as 2p?

My last piece of ginger in Ts didn't register on the scales so DD shot off to grab me another slightly bigger piece.
Ended up costing me 12p
DD obviously thinks I'm made of money!
Now what can I make with 12p worth of ginger?

12p  for one filler !!

    That's at least 4/5 fillers worth ;)

I always shred my ginger and put it in Sweet n Sours, Spag Bols, Stir Frys and in Rice pudding, yummy.
