    Afternoon all.
    Hope everyone's ok

LOGIE- hope you all feel better soon x

I've not long been back from the vets.
My poor kitty cat has possibly broke his leg :(
No idea how it's happened, I let him out at 5.30 this morning and he was fine. God knows what has happened between then and lunchtime.
    :(:(
oh poor kitty kat. Hope he recovers quickly..
    Afternoon all :)

Round 3 of the penny hunt for me (and probably my last for a bit). I have a quick n00b question for you all, with the hand held scanners do you use them just to check the price or do you use them to scan and pay for shopping as well? Not used them before and don't want to get clocked! Thanks in advance :)

    Both...

love your name bobajob :D Welcome.

I love ginger, use it in thai curries, soup, chinese and noodle style dishes, indian curries. Also chopped up finely and put on salmon/fish before baking in tin foil in the oven.

I can confirm - A v M £5.20 v £3 on 16 wash ariel COLOUR (purple lid) and original (green lid) only. Not working on febreze (turquoise lid)

    :A aaaaaaaah

    Hi everyone.

Just popping in to say I went in Morribobs at the weekend and noticed the Chicago town pizzas were £2.50, so 50p each for anyone who still has the £2 MOC (valid until 31/1).

Quite handy if doing a TvM burger shop (assuming it compares).

    Bye for now,
    Sad_Dad

Thanks for the heads up on this :j

Was just about to throw away the MOC thinking it wouldn't get used now.

Only another month and it will be free Dr Oetker pizzas :o
  • Can i ask, what do you all do with these little pieces of ginger?
Apart from making a curry from scratch once, i cant recall ever buying or needing a piece of ginger before, just really curious as to what people do with it.

Grate the ginger and add it to cupcakes or a cake mix. Or if you have a baking tray, put cake mix in it to cook and make a Swiss roll and add the ginger to the cream filling.

Ah I'm starving now:) could really eat a piece of cake . But it's a fast day!!!
