I have a question regarding the Unlimited Cinema cards for Cineworld and wondered if anyone had one.

According to the website you get unlimited viewing any day of the week.

However, in the terms and conditions it states

7.6 The Unlimited Card is only valid for one performance at any one time and, cannot be used to obtain a ticket for another performance before the film presentation for which it has been used comes to an end (although, the User can use his/her Unlimited Card to book one ticket online using the Unlimited Card online ticket booking offer (where available) see clause 18 below).

Im confused by the red part and wonder if Im understanding it correctly.
As I read it- say for instance I go on a Monday to see '12 years a slave' then I cannot go again on perhaps Wednesday to see a different film if 12 years a slave is still being shown at the cinema. Or, does it simply mean you cant leave part way through a showing and walk into another film. Its the word 'presentation' that confusing.

If this is the case then I would not be able to go more than once a week which really negates the saving by buying the card.

Am I understanding it correctly?

  • No. It means if you buy a ticket for a showing that finishes at 5pm, you can't buy a ticket for a film that stars before 5pm.

Hubby and I have seen multiple films in a day with an unlimited ticket.

The above makes sense, but it's not drafted clearly.

just means you must wait till you have finished watching one film before you book/buy ticket for the next

Think it means that you have to use the card, watch the film, use the card. It is not relating to the name of the film but the fact you can not watch two performances together.

This card entitles you to one cinema ticket at a time, except for online bookings.

Wish i had a cineworld nearby.

  • As others have said, you can only book one film at a time. However you can see as many films as you want in a week.

I would imagine it's to stop you sharing your card with friends, so they couldn't book a film on it while you're there watching another film
  • I have one and yes it does mean you can't get another ticket for a film if the one you have just got hasn't finished yet.

However you can get a ticket for one film and get another ticket for another film due to start after the first has finished, which I've done before on going to watch two films in a row to save getting back into the queue.
  • Myself and DH are using the unlimited card from 2008.
We see 2 movies one after one everytime we go.

The sentence just means that you cannot buy tickets for another movie when your current movie is still running.

Unlimited card is a great value for money. If you hold it for one than one year you will get unlimited premium giving you 3D performances also with no extra charge and 25% off food and drinks.
