That sounds like a very wise decision CP, and well done on paying off a debt.
Well my birthday last week was lovely, as was the 5* hotel. We ended up in one of the suites worth £1,000 a night - wowser. It was fantastic and I could really do with being rich!
But other than that, it's as though I've been leaking money. My fiance and I don't share a bedroom (we moved in together very early on into our relationship and we decided to basically be housemates who happen to be dating) so this weekend we've done a massive move around - moving three rooms around so that instead of my room, his room and an eBay room we will have our room, a spare room and an eBay/gaming room. The entire house is an absolute shambles, there is no where tidy to go. On top of that, we've bought some new furniture on Facebook and have to buy some new wardrobes in the short term, and long-term we need curtain poles, blackout curtains (fiance works nights) and so, so much more.
Then last week we also ate out a lot for my birthday and we traveled a lot, AND I lost £20 birthday money (I am wondering if it was the hotel staff as I left my bag in the room one night when we went to dinner. I know it is "only" £20 but I'm so gutted. I definitely did not spend it - I've matched my credit card transactions with everywhere we went last week and I have all my cash receipts for everything else). Then we went to the cinema yesterday - we have Cineworld Unlimited cards but had to pay because it was a 3D showing and I hadn't taken our 3D glasses with us - another expense.
But I'm working from home Mon, Tue and Wed which saves me £30 in petrol.
£4 to add for a mystery shop, and that's literally about it. I have nothing up my sleeve. I'm running a bootcamp on my blog next month - similar to this £10 a day thread, where every day I give people a list of 3-5 things to do to make extra money. This is eating away at every single free moment I have - trying to plan which tasks to give out each day, creating a spreadsheet for participants to keep track of their earnings and writing 31 blog posts all before March starts is extremely time consumingI like to make money

£15 of 'free' train tickets from RedSpottedHanky vouchers and £1.55 cashback as will get reimbursed for a ticket I part-bought using the vouchers. Determined not to spend any actual money on travel for a few months - have got various vouchers and points and expenses-paid trips to use instead so just need to work out how to get the most miles out of it all.New graduate trying to get debt-free.

Well done CP I made the same decision as you some time ago and have never regretted it once
More to life than making yourself ill over a job
You will be fine once you are back in the swing of Eb*y :rotfl:Saying that I still haven't listed one item for ages so I need a kick up the backside with that.
Having windows replaced at home at the moment and its driving me mad will be so glad when its finished.
Anyway an extra £30 for a job today so doing ok so far this month.
Good luck to all
