I was working towards debt free by Christmas and could possibly still make it if I went all out but, due to an HMRC re-calculation/ balancing payment I've had to add a bit on to the totals this month so my realistic new goal is Jan 31st 2017.
I am more that content with that In fact I was dancing round the kitchen this morning when I'd finished doing the sums . It's been a long hard haul but oh so worthwhile!0 -
My debt free date currently is 20/06/2017.Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.0

That's a great way to look at it. That means I should have... just 24 pay days to manage it. That's doable., surely. (Crosses fingers, crosses everything.)0 -
