Sky Cancellation

I've received a survey via email asking why I'm cancelling Sky.

Should I fill it in and send it or stay quiet in terms of getting offered a discounted deal? Or am I thinking too much?

Thoughts?

Do whatever you want, it has absolutely no bearing on any deal they might subsequently offer you.

I would say it is probably worth completing the survey. We received a call two days after submitting the survey. The chap said he was ringing in response to the survey and seemed to have the information to hand??

I never, ever fill out surveys now. It always used to result in my personal details (phone, email etc.) being passed to a third party who would pester me to sign up for insurance or whatever. I never actually gained anything.

I agree. It certainly won't affect any deal the OP might subsequently be offered.

Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.
