I refer you to post #5. It'll depend on what formula they use to determine "proportionate".0

According to the terms and conditions the compensation is 25% of the postage costs for late delivery.0

I don't understand how you think that someone in a UK post office could possibly speak on behalf of the Swedish postal system.
Because Parcelforce is not a postal service. Its a courier service. and Parcelforce don't deliver to Sweden, they use a Third Party express provider. With internal network access to quote a transit time for a shipment based on the information you present at the point of drop off.
ParcelForce offer money back that's proportionate to how late it arrives, this is the terms and conditions that you are given/can see at the post office when you drop off.
You don't get your money back entirely as they still get the goods there, its not a guaranteed time definitive service you have bought.0 -
If saturdays count but public holidays are out, then...
Day 1 = 20th
Day 2 = 21st
Day 3 = 23rd
Day 4 = 27th
Day 5 = 28th
Day 6 = 30th
Day 7 = 2nd Jan
And if Saturdays don't count...
Day 1 = 20th
Day 2 = 23rd
Day 3 = 27th
Day 4 = 30th
Day 5 = 2nd Jan1. Have you tried to Google the answer?

None of the date debate is important, as the Post Office worker has a real time delivery commitment check, which takes into account days where the delivery contractor is not working automatically.
The post office worker said when it would arrive, the package arrived late, in line with the terms and conditions of service they are proportionally refunded.0 -
PF's Global Priority Service is supposed to ensure delivery in 3 working days - so delivery should have been made on 27 December (no deliveries in Sweden on weekends, 21st & 22nd - or on 24th, 25th and 26th). I'd say that with the Christmas period, they haven't done too badly to deliver on 2 January, but seem to have refunded part of the postage fee.
The item was posted several days too late for Christmas delivery according to the Post Office website http://www.postoffice.co.uk/christmas/parcelforce-posting-dates
At the end of the day, much is down to what the poster understood from the PO clerk, but post offices generally have copies of 'Last Posting Dates' leaflets on display at Christmas time: I wouldn't expect the whole postage fee to be refunded, but a letter from Parcelforce would have been useful in explaining their offer of £150
