In today's 'Sun',
I was interested at all the things she has 'missed out on' like computers and new clothes....my kids could argue all those things.
When compared to the story in the Mail the other day about the man imprisoned for waving at his daughters, it makes you wonder why the CSA was 'reformed' years ago.

It could be argued, however, that the Mum could have done more to get these things.
I would be more concerned with the lack of affection from the Father, however, I hope she wins the case.
I know many single mums who make sure their children have the best they can afford, going without, so their children aren't seen to be 'tramps'.
I think the Mother who has no doubt instigated this case, should not have done so through the child.0 -
            I agree with the Waltons!
My kids would be missing out on stuff too, and i work hard and skrimp & save to ensure they aren't missing out.
Its the girls father thats not been paying towards her upkeep - shouldn't they be sueing him!0 -
So what about those children who live with both their parents (as in they are still together) and who can't afford those things?
Who do they sue?working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -

wholeheartedly agree - too much is placed on material things in todays society and its a disgrace.
Its a shame that this girl didnt have all of the above where others have but we have to play with the card we are dealt and make the most of them rather than moan, whinge and sue!!

You think a PC is a luxury in todays society?!
I think it is an investment. I pay my bills online.. do my banking saving me Diesel and ringing 0845 numbers... we trade online...
Besides.. what gives you the right to query what I buy?! The PC is years old.0 -
We grew up with second hand clothes, uniform was passed down or bought from a cheap shop. Mum made some clothes for us.
Only went on "day trips" with school as couldn't afford any more (there were 4 of us). Didn't have a computer until I was in my 20's and that was an old one passed down.
We were the last in my year at school to get a video player!
Never went abroad until I was 18 and working.
But we were happy. What is there to sue over???

I think you need to get away from your PC more... having read the other 12 posts you have written today... or do your neighbours avoid you?!0 -
Harold_Bishop wrote: »I was correct as now your overly defending yourself, also you should take a walk to the bank to meet neighbours and also what do you mean you trade online, do you mean ebay or do you have a real business, and a PC is a luxury and you could buy your children more clothes instead of a PC.
