You might have to hold her beak open and use the tip of a teaspoon to get some in her.0

If you massage her crop, the contents should feel loose. If it's hard, try holding her upside down and massage the crop to try and break up the contents. Perhaps give her some of whatever cooking oil you have to lubricate it.0

Yikes. Just came back from working on her. Thanks so much for this. I managed to get her to take more yoghurt, then some water then a bit of grain. She has definitely perked up a bit , standing rather tahn lying slumped.
Thank you so much. I don't know whether to leave her be now or go and inspect as you said. If you're still there what would you suggest?
I'm keeping her in the box in the kitchen with food and water. Kitchen looks like a barnyard anyway so she can just stay in and be coddled.Living on Earth can be expensive, but it does include an annual free trip around the Sun.0 -
Give her a little cuddle and gently feel her crop.
I'm going up for a bath now, but I'll pop back later to see how things are. (((hugs)))0 -
Hmm...not sure what to suggest. I did wonder about an impacted crop and this page came up in a search.
Gvamp. No link but it is late and I am a SO grateful for your help .
I'd like to check that though. I 'd prefer her feeling disgruntled from being messed about andhandled than dead in the morning.
Hope you're still there.....Living on Earth can be expensive, but it does include an annual free trip around the Sun.0 -

Arghhh! So tired deletd entire post.
Found link. Crop seems OK. All 4 are in same pretty spacious environment with no reason for her to differ.
She's not actually bullied in the pecking order because she's not competative so don't think she's been attacked or deprived by the other girls.
They have all had a little too much corn, grain so less lay and and all looking fat , proud and glossy.
Actually wondering as there is massive foxes, badgers, rats around if some poison from elsewhere could have wound in their enclosure and she got some?
Rats., mice do drag perceived food supply from source to place and I've been sorting out mice with traps in the adjoining shed having seen them poncing about in the coop?
Warghh. Braindead now but going to check on her and hope she's still with us in the morning. Thanks all for support. xLiving on Earth can be expensive, but it does include an annual free trip around the Sun.0 -

Just wondering how Miss Williams is this morning.0

Been up and down all night checking and trying to get her to drink. She's still alive but not eating , drinking and hasn't pooped at all. Just standing absolutely still. I borrowed a mini ark and put her in there by herself so at least she won't get bullied by any of the others. All she did was get herself into the covered bit and hasn't moved since.Living on Earth can be expensive, but it does include an annual free trip around the Sun.0
