Switching from Orange/EE to Sky BB

Hi guys

I'm a Sky TV customer, but have my phone/BB with Orange (now EE). I'm being tempted to switch purely for £100 Quidco upgrade bonus... :o

I'm happy with my Orange broadband - I usually get 14mbps or thereabouts, it's reliable. My boyfriend and I download a LOT of big stuff, Playstation games and the likes.

If I switch to Sky is my speed likely to be affected? I'd assume it should be the same since it's still coming through the same telephone line?

And is Sky's unlimited BB truly unlimited?

Thanks.

It's the same local loop, but Sky will be an LLU service (i.e. not using BT's network from the exchange). So possibly a bit faster-use the Sky speed checke to get an estimate.
It's unlimited subject to FUP, like all unlimited services.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
