Pension Credit, claimed by your wife, as she is getting her pension, and I think they have changed the rules for non-pension claimants, would be the best option, I would imagine.

Look up their site, or give them a ring, and try "turn2us" for other entitlements.

Yesterday I offered my advice:


claim Pension Credit until his SRP comes into play. They would top up the household income to £222 a week plus HB & CTB

Now please explain where your advice differs from mine?

As I have said, I don't have to defend myself, certainly not to the likes of you and we all know what opinion and thought did.

Are those comments worthy of being placed on this forum? I would suggest that you read the T&C of what this site is for. Insulting people and accusing them of being a thief is certainly not one of them!

Here you are telling the OP that he is too old to claim JSA or ESA at age 64 and in your words "You're done."
I would call that insulting and dishonest!

Actually you misread what i wrote ..i called you a "self confessed thief" yes superwoman 4 That is exactly what i was referring to.

Funny as well that you refer to forum etiquette when you have been referred to as a troll repeatedly and also recently slated for hijacking other peoples threads.

Dear me, they still haven't closed this account of yours Andy. No doubt you are already farming new ones in other forums where people aren't watching in order to get your post count up a little and appear 'respectable'. You should get a hobby other than upsetting people.
