  • Viewings with pets don't bother me nor do pet smells because it's life and like something in poor decoration I can look passed it. Sad that others can't! Anyway the only viewings I don't like is ones where the seller is in the house. That makes me extremely uncomfortable.
If you dont know where you are going... Any road will take you there :rotfl:

We just put our house on the market and had 15 viewings booked for an open day

I wasn't sure what to do about our cat, but there wasn't anywhere I could go and take her with me, so I thought I go for the natural tranquiliser - food! Just fed her with a big handful of prawns (her favourite) 1/2 h before the viewings started, as I knew that she'd be likely to snooze happily by the radiator digesting.... and apparently that's exactly what she did! She is not shy or anything but thought she may be alarmed having a stream of strangers coming and going whilst we're out... Anyway, feedback from the Agent was that although not everyone loved our house - they all absolutely loved the cat :T (and also received 1 offer on the house  )

If only my cats would do that- however they are still young (only a year old) and are so curious about everything I know they will just follow viewers around the house! I think I will just shut them in one room and make viewers aware that we have cats before they come in.

Oh, and congratulations on getting an offer!
