Poor 3G in work?

the 3G is pretty poor in my work on my iphone 4 (vodafone), i know lots of metal buildings etc but is there anything i can do to improve the signal, other than standing on one leg by the window, while balancing like a ballerina?

Are there any plug in signal boosters etc?

Vodafone market a SureSignal box. Costs £100 though.

Vodafones SureSignal box as suggested would work, it takes your calls and routed them over the internet rather than being a standalone booster .

It needs to be put on your works network/ broadband connection. You can register 32 vodafone numbers to it and 8 device can use it at once.

Question is will your work allow it on the network from a IT security point of view, and if they do can it be configured correctly to pass data out of the company network.

If you're going to use your work internet anyway, can't you just use WiFi? You said it was for 3g rather than calls.
