some good advice above.
Does it happen at any particular time?
Does it happen at all during the day or only in the evening?
It may be contention for network resources in the exchange or between you and the exchange if a lot of people are all trying to use their Internet for gaming, TV streaming, Netfix etc.
It certainly can be at the same time. Yesterday for about half an hour at 5.30pm. Quite often it has also been around 10.30pm. A few nights that has happened.0 -
Does sound like a possible contention issue, usually kicks in after school when the kids come home and get on the X-Box or whatever.
Have you changed the channel yet?No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Slightly off topic, I used TT live chat today, to report my SNR had dropped from 9.x to 14.3 and asked if they have changed my profile...the Live agent said he would look into it and 2 hours later he changed my profile to 15db not what I wanted at all but of course the live chat disconnected and he didn't call me on my landline....so when I get home (drove me to drink at the local:beer:) I will try and contact them via twitface or I could wait for 2-3 days for their support forum (which will mean 5 days since they don't work weekends) hey-ho but it has been a year since I have had any problems, but your problems seem to be with Wireless which is more or less out of their control ... good luck4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex . Hello and thanks for help.
I've installed inssider 2.1.
Can't really understand it, lol.
It says thsat my talk talk rssi runs between 16-22.
Surrounding networks run in the 70's if anything I've written is relevant. I've unticked them.
The channel box tells me 10+14 with someones sky channel at 110 -
Talk talk...:) oh God, you should change your internet provider0

So it's a dual channel router? Notorious for producing interference when running in dual channel mode.
Make and model of your router?
There are only UK wireless channels, none 'in the 70's'.
Basically the app shows the network name (you'll recognise yours), the channel number and the signal strength. What you need to avoid are strong networks (usually close neighbours) running on the same channel. Switch to a channel that overlaps least. You can experiment as needed. No free lunch, and no free laptop0
