Who? I didn't think anyone could revoke one
Once an mot certificate has been issued and registered on Mot computerisation, it cannot be revoked.
If VOSA do an inverted appeal where they check out the condition of a vehicle that has just passed its mot and find items that mean it should have failed, they cannot take the pass away, the mot is valid once issued.
They can put a prohibitation order on it which makes it illegal to be on the road until the serious defects are rectified, but cannot take away the pass.If it isn't broken, don't try to fix it.0 -

My car failed it's last MOT due to an issue with the power connection by the mounting point for a removable tow hook (not attached at the time as I have never used it). I did not consider my car the least bit unroadworthy as a result.0
