Help Please Roxburghe & Apcoa Luton Airport

Hi guys, I have had a letter dated 10th January stating POFA 2012. Do I respond? The letter is addressed to my husband who was not driving the car as he is seen on the photo getting out of the car. Any advice letters needed would be much appreciated.

  • Am a bit confused after reading all the posts. I received a letter from Apcoa but we were on holiday and I have no idea when it arrived. I did not respond and have now received a letter from Roxburgh. This contains the paragraph about POFA 2012 and says I am liable and the charge has gone up to £128.00.

The Notice is addressed to my husband who was a passenger in the car and the picture shows him getting out of the passenger side on the roundabout, (I had no idea this was not allowed, he was running late for his flight). Not sure what letter I need to send to Roxburgh, can you help please I am running out of time already, their letter was dated 10th Jan but I received on the 16th !

You need to read the sticky thread for NEWBIEs about what to do. Debt collector letters are covered in the advice I give there, seeing as you missed the appeal chance. DO NOT NAME THE DRIVER UNLESS YOU HAVE RESEARCHED & DECIDED TO TRY TO 'REWIND THE CLOCK' SO THE DRIVER CAN APPEAL - BUT PERSONALLY I WOULD NOT DO THAT IN AN AIRPORT SITUATION, AS THE KEEPER IS NOT LIABLE ANYWAY SO THIS IS 'SAFE' TO IGNORE NOW AND BETTER TO KEEP THE DRIVER UNKNOWN.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You did the same yesterday too, mands1971. Why did you post in here instead of starting your OWN thread like you were advised yesterday?

Crabman has moved the posts to a separate thread.

Hi mands1971, I've moved your posts from different threads (with responses) into this one.

Please make any future posts here as that way all replies can be kept in one place for you :)
  • Thanks for the replies guys but am still a bit confused as to what to put in the letter, yes it was a private ticket and was issued through the post

Coupon Mad, am a bit 'dim' at finding the sticky thread, can you copy the letter to this thread that I need to send, sorry to be a pain !

    Thanks in anticipation !!!

Look at my signature for the address of the NEWBIES sticky thread.

I would never just give a link - I avoid it like the plague when it's merely one of the sticky threads I am directing people to...seeing as 'stickies' (info & FAQs threads) are always at the top of any forum and should always be the first thing to read.

It simply doesn't help you learn how to use the forum so it works for you, if we spoon-feed newbies (sorry but it is true). It is easy to whizz round the threads, but needs a tiny bit of practice - and for starters, my signature tells you how to click to page one, off any thread you happen to be reading.

Once you can use one forum you can use any forum, which may well come in handy for you in the future re exploring/researching another issue or interest.
