Hoping for a nsd today.I had to revisit the shops again yesterday since my son completly forgot to give me his cooking list for today!!
All Christmas cards were being reduced down to 10p as we walked in so I've stocked up for next year for less than a pound which I guess means he's forgiven.:)

Morning diary ,had a fairly good weekend -small spend at the shops .
I did try and do a frozen food shop but the tills decided not to accept anyone's cards .I had no cash on me so ended up leaving it all up there and did it online instead.This won't come until Wednesday though so counts as next week's shop.
Also managed to sell an item on eBay for a pound more at auction than I've been trying and failing to sell on buy it now ! It's gone into a savings fund to repair the bathroom which badly needs doing and WILL NOT go on to the credit card.

I need a small top up shop today to get the few bits that I couldn't get online. Hoping for less than £20.
Have realised I'm up £40 in my bank account ( cc payment has overlapped )
I'm debating what to use it for .I badly need a haircut but since it was already put aside for the cards I feel like I should really use it for that .(or it would be a big help for the bathroom fund )

Shop came to £18 not bad since I took 2 of the children with me .A pound spend at the tills with the " can I have sweets " that they leave by the tills but other than that things I actually needed .(and no clothes made it in my trolley )

I have made a small over payment on one card of £15 out of the spare 40 which probably isn't great but at least I didn't spend the lot.
Also put a few things on eBay which will be added to the bathroom fund if they sell .
We've had some lovely meals out and a busy week in general but this week should be quieter and less spendy.

Aargh just lost my post !
I have taken the rest of the shopping budget out of the bank today. Im hoping it will help to deal with "real" money .
Small spend on some groceries and Valentine's card for oh, plus some chocs for the kids .we don't do much just lay the table for dinner ( been together too long :-) )

Not a very good week ,we've had a big spend. Gone back to the tumble dryer after having to strip and wash everything in the house due to one of the kids catching something .Several loads in the local launderette and I caved and bought one out of our savings.
Then the fridge broke so 100 pound back on the card .There are some payments due to come out in the next few days to the cards so I'll leave my signature for now since it should catch up and resetting it is fairly depressing .Unexpected spend on medicine for us too so quite tight for the next week or so.
Just wondering how many people have an emergency fund ? And if so how much ?

We planned a nice cheap trip to the library this afternoon.Unfortunetly when it came to taking the books out it turned out they havent returned the last lot and my cardchas expired through lack of use !!:o
Found all missing books so at least we havent got to pay for them .
Ive also been given a lovely bag of childrens clothes from a friend so i need to pick up a bottle of wine or some chocs as a thank you.

I've Sorted out the library cards so free books for us all from now on:)I have got a kindle but have realised that since my accounts linked to my credit card There are a lot of little spends of a book here and there creeping in.
Had a small spend yesterday of £4 since I needed a new shower curtain and toilet brush - I have such an exciting life !!£2 today on exercise class but shouldn't need anything else .
Ebay has finished ,not a huge sum but a couple more things we don't need removed from this house.
