HP Pavilion 15-e081sa 15.6" - Replace Laptop Screen
Comments

I ended up just taking it to Currys/PCW to use their repair route, seeing as the laptop is so new. (Didn't want to risk compromising the warranty/guarantee by self-repairing).
They charged £50 repair fee plus £48* for the screen. I should get the laptop back on Monday.
* Which is what a screen would probably have cost me to buy. I had half-expected £89 as that's what the guy in store has suggested the screen would cost.

I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple

I know. If the laptop was nearer 12 months old than 2 months old then I would have repaired it myself. But I didn't want to give them any chance for an excuse should anything else go wrong with it within the first 12 months.
