Anybody been watching the Paisley Program??
Looks like Peter & Co. did the dirty on him!!!!
The silence from them at the moment is defining!!

I'd say Marty would be higher up the Christmas card list than some of his ex-colleagues and parishioners at the moment !!

What been revealed overall? I didn't watch any of the documentary but know that Paisley seems to be more unpopular than usual.

To be fair he was never highly regarded by either Unionists or Protestants, only a small element in each of those two groups had any time for him.

I think many of todays top unionists rose to the top on ians coattails and if he had had the good grace to have shuffled off this mortal coil as expected before making this documentary those same people condemning him for "misremembering" would have been in the "vanguard" (no pun intended) to tell all who would listen "what a great leader he was, sorely missed, never be replaced, etc."

... until he ended up winning. A deeply unpleasant man, he couldn't resist a sneer at PR's marriage - some rubbish about Eileen still loving him.
