  • Pollyanna....she is 16 and yes I did resist saying I told you so, she knew from the look on my face lol. I know at 16 she should be able to dye her hair but as she is looking for work ( full time she has a part time job and is still studying) going purple wasnt the best colour . think you have a few years yet before your girls start x
    Bright Blessings xx

My request for reduced hours has been refused, I'm not really surprised, my line manager is annoyed as a colleague wanted more hours & the 2 would have balanced out nicely, hey ho, I expect they think that a refusal will make me retire quicker, but it won't.
Steak, mushrooms & chips for hubby's tea to cheer him up, no ironing tonight, so I'm going to do some knitting tonight & watch tv. I'll be in bed by 8 again I expect as I'm tired.
    Have a good day everyone.
    Hugs Hester

Ah Hester, so sorry to hear that. Not surprising they can't see sense though by the sounds of them.

Busy day, had netball after school, they lost! Just making some low carb crackers, will use up more mincemeat (DD loves mince pies) and made a couple of fruit cakes.

The weather is absolutely awful, there was lots of flooding on the roads causing total chaos so took ages to get home.

    Take care all. XX

    Hi all

Havn,t posted for ages but read everyday - hugs to all.. X

Just had to tell someone or explode....

    We booked our wedding today:eek:

Been together 7 years, we proposed to each other at midnight new years eve - not planned... The reason we havn,t told anyone is that we are doing it OS - he had had a ring designed using my grandma old diamond ring - the gorgous diamond was damaged, but is being recut and reset as a solitare - so bloomin happy and so bloomin frustrated that noone knows till its done (6-8 weeks) - not even the kids.........

Gonna be a tiny doo him, me, the kids and his mum - thats if they say yes - he,s got to ask their permission yet:rotfl:

    Sorry to burble on:o
Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

Are either/both of you union members? This is a certain win case with a decent union rep.

Proud to have dealt with our debt :)
  • I was in the union, but £15 a month & no help from our rep for anyone, so I withdrew.
I can go back to the Dr's & explain that I'm still doing all the heavy lifting that was meant to stop, I may try that next.
