conkai security parking charge notice - private property valid permit holders only

I found a parking charge notice today on my car. It was parked in the spot I am allocated through my rental of a nearby property. My pass must have dropped off the dash. Seeing as this is where I am meant to park, can I ignore? I have already emailed them to explain this, what next, have I hindered any appeal? They didn't knock on my door to check if I was in, snarl.
I can't post links yet to the sign [newbie]
thanks

Why email them before checking...I suppose you have implied or stated who parked the car as well didn't you?! Oooops!! Never mind, read the sticky thread advice now and you will win in the end; you need to read the thread you appear to have overlooked at the top of the forum 'Private parking ticket, old or new? Newbies please read this first!'.
Please show us a photo of the sign on site (as a newbie you will need to break the link by removing the http from the URL).
And they are not there to help residents - they are a parasite and would never know or warn someone. They live to issue fake PCNs so wise up to the pariah that your Managing Agents have allowed on site.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

What does your rental contract say ?Be happy...;)0

To expand on the rental agreement thing, if your rental agreement mentions a parking space(s) and nothing about permits/passess etc then you are mostly in the clear, you can further back this up by asking your landlord for the lease agreement for the parking space.
Once you have all of that you can basically tell conkai where to go, if you dont want to take part in their parking scheme you can ( and should ) tell them that as well, if they continue to ticket then just challenge each and every one at popla.
If they patrol each day/night you should be able to get a ticket every day, one ticket=1 challenge to popla, after a while conkai should get the message. From the Plain Language Commission:

i'll check the rental agreement, it's at work. I've started to do a quick scan of the stickies.
So now i've already responded, what next?
Will they issue a NTK?
If I get something from my rental company saying parking spot x is allocated to me, can i send it on to them and tell them to naff off?
is the lack of permit showing an issue?0 -

Ooooh, they have tried VERY hard to make this seem to be a contractually agreed fee to park. But look at the bit at the bottom in black/white which is the bit you will have to quote clearly to POPLA in due course! ''if there is a breach of these terms & conditions...''!!
Your POPLA appeal will need to be carefully written - I have a version which might help when you are ready. Do you think they have an employee who comes round in a liveried vehicle and with a uniform on, or is this a ticket issued by a nosy resident on Conkai's behalf?PRIVATE 'PCN'? saw an unmarked old van once, not sure about more recently. They did a couple of residents the same night.
next steps? I just wait for the appeal decision, then popla if needs be?
I'll contact my rental guys, see if they can help tomorrow0 -
Have you divulged who was driving with your email appeal?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
