That may not be possible.
There is the possibility the heir hunter won't have been able to process anything yet.
Start with the BV lists as linked previously.0 -

It won't be Bona Vacantia. There is a will. She has been named in it.
No heir hunters required unless the executor is paying a company to find the OP's wife."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0 -
Firstly if this is a will then she is entitled to that share adopted or not. If he died intestate and she was adopted and therefore she is not entitled. Can I ask the name of the company?

Secondly if there is a will then it is likely that they have been commissioned by a firm of solicitors. If this is the case then the likley company that is dealin with this will be Title Research. They tend to get most of the solicitors work because they work on a fixed fee rather than asking the entitled heir for a percentage. If they are working for a solicitor then they will know the name and the value of the share as well.
If I can help further then feel free to ask here or contact me privately. sSo you know I am a heir hunter and I post here as a way of giving back and I never tout for business here as others will testify
