Has anyone else had problems with Talktalk sim?
I signed up for a Talktalk sim last September when they were offering it at £3.75 per month. Right from the start I had a very low signal or, more often than not, no signal at all. I would even lose the signal when I was part way through sending a text and it wouldn't be sent.
In October I got in touch with Talktalk and they sent me another sim. This was just the same. TT said that it must be my phone but I have tried both my husband's and son's sims in my phone and they have both zoomed up to full service straight away. I have also tried each of the TT sims in hubby and son's phones and they didn't work any better in either phone.
I have asked to have the contract cancelled but am getting nowhere with TT. The sims are obviously not fit for purpose and I don't see why I should be locked into such a contract.
I am currently waiting for a call "within 2 working days" for the second time in 2 weeks to try to sort this out. I am sick to death of ringing them, on my landline, to get something done. I have to go through the whole story every time as I get a different person and cannot be put through to someone I have spoken to before.
Has anyone else had this problem and could possibly give me some tips on how to get to a satisfactory conclusion.

Its a Mobile contract/ sim and their is never a guarantee that it will work in any specific place .
If you can get a good signal in other areas outside of the home then it works and is fit for purpose .
Recommend on MSE is to check network signals where you intend to use the phone before signing a contract .See multiple identical posts .0 -
Thanks for your help. I have checked the service in my area and it shows a good signal. But I have one bar showing on the phone, alternating with "no signal". This is in my home.:rudolf: Always skip and eat your peas :rudolf:0
