Not all Sky+ boxes can receive Sky Anytime, this is what they told me when I phoned to ask if we would get it. They said we probably would but it would most likely take a while.

Also, Sky+HD installation is £30 now - they have a half price deal on :D

And, look at this - sorry if this has already been mentioned elsewhere but it's great news :D

just logged on to this to see what I can save on a HD box and it's a joke...thankyou for your loyalty my bum...it says £249 which is a joke as I have been with sky since the beginning but obviously that doesn't count as a loyal customer....

I got it installed yesterday for £199 plus £30 installation, because i've been with them for more than 6 years. That's the most discount you can get.

Have you been with them for more than 6 years constantly, with no breaks inbetween? If so, you'll get it for £199 + £30 install.

After waiting almost a month for the TV to come back into the shop, it got delivered at the same time as the man from Sky was here! We now have a 50'' plasma with a 1000w home cinema system. It's great. I'm now broke and i've lost track of the days already...busy playing with our new toy and fighting the kids for the remote controls!! :D

I had to e-mail a picture of it to dh. He left yesterday and won't see his new baby for over a month. Shame. ;)

I'm getting a LCD 37" at christmas so didn't want it until then...don't see the point in buying small pressie's...so this year (just me and my son) I decided to get a 37" for the lounge and a 32" for my son in his bedroom...then as I have sky+ get the HD box for downstair's and give the sky+ box to my son and do multiroom to get free installation...I was offered it last month for £199 but said no...and last december I got an email from sky saying it was only £149 so I'll just wait until christmas now...thanks though and yes I have been with them for about 20 year's one of the first I think but 3 different address's so maybe there just counting this address which I have been in for 8 year's now...but when I put all my details in it came up with £249 cheek....:D

We bought it from a shop in town. We could have got it cheaper online but decided to go locally as it's where we buy all our electrical stuff. The after service is good - plus some places online were charging £349 for a 5yr guarantee and we got it for nothing. The TV is a Panasonic Viera, and the surround sound is Panasonic too. We haven't been on a holiday this year. This was our treat instead. :)

Phone up Sky and explain you've moved house. Fingers crossed you get a better deal!
