Morning all,
Cold and frosty here too. Will take dd to work in a while but day off for me which I desperately need as I am really tired, I plan to rush around the house and tidy this morning and prep dinner then have a sit down this afternoon, working all weekend and being on your feet wipes you out!
Chicken curry for dinner tonight with rice poppadum's and mango chutney looking forward to it.
Will need to do a couple of washes today and the dw will need to go on.
Hester I hope your dd is ok, please keep us updated xx
Have good days all xx0 -
Morning ladies,
please hold my virtual hand this morning as I am taking a lump to the GP. It is in an "intimate" place and so what was going to be a routine appointment with the male GP to sort out my thyroxine script is going to be a lot more complicated. It is probably nothing scary - but, you know how big the elephant in the room can get.
Lovely cold blue sky here.
HM soup for lunch and a "Chinese noodle" type dish for dinner because it is a SW green day.
Off to knit like a chimp (my normal style in other words) and think of other things until 10.40.I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
Morning,
Luxor - sending you a ((((hug)))) and hope it turns out to be nothing.
Hester - Hope your DD is ok.
Bright and dry today. There was a frost first thing and now I can see a mist over the river.
Spent most of the weekend looking for another car for DH. Trouble is he has no idea what he wants, which makes it harder in a lot of ways. We have at least decided to move the caravan from its local storage to one in the country. It's in a nice location with easy access to the coast and it will be great as we can just tow the van out of the compound an onto a pitch with a lesser more economical car.
Just got to see how much we will get scrap value for the old one.
Right must get on with the cleaning then popping to Mr T to get a few bits before seeing dad for a coffee.
Have a good day.0 -
Very chilly here this morning, thick frost when I took the dogs put at 7,
Have had awful earache for the last 5 days so popped to the sit and wait at the drs this morning , there is no infection , no inflammation no build up of wax , so not sure what is going on with it .
Have just put a load of jeans in the water tank cupboard to dry , luckily it's big enough to have a clothes horse in there, they will be dry this evening ready for next load to go on it over night .
Just having a quick cuppa and a piece of bread pudding as didn't get round to having porridge before going to the drs. Boy don't I know I hasn't have it, my belly was gurgling the whole time I was waiting to be seen.
Then got to Hoover and tidy the landing and stairs as they look really cluttered and blergh.
Dinner is chicken curry for ds2 and myself and chicken pasta and salad for dd as she doesn't like curry
Hope everyone is keeping well, hugs for poorlies and anyone else that wants one0 -

Thank you. It is as good as nothing, thank fully.
It is a cyst/ blocked duct, so keep an eye on it (bit awkward given the location, you know what I mean) and go back if it changes . And he didn't need to look at it. Or show the student doctor. Phew:D:rotfl:

Morning friends,
I've been to the dreaded physio this morning. It was painful but not as bad as I thought, I think I had built it up in my mind but I got through it. The young girl was lovely and she has given me some exercises to do at home.
It wiped me out though so had a sleep when I got back:o
Luxor fingers crossed its nothing, my thoughts are with you x
hester how's DD
Scarlettsmum hope the ear feels better, there is nothing worse
Planning a quiet day then will do my exercises later. My middle son and his gf are calling for a visit later.
Ds3 has his last exam today, he is having second thoughts about Uni and thinks an apprenticeship may be the way to go. We will see
Spoke to my eldest boy in Australia on Sunday, they are all fine, little Amelia is thriving. I can't wait to meet her:D
My DD and DGS are home tonight as well, full house but I wouldn't have it any other way.
Have a good Monday bfn x

Umm, it's in a bit of a tender area, and has no connection with the surface, so I think I will just leave it alone - trying not to giggle at the thought though, because ...ouch  :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -

Lovely here today but cooler than of late.
The doctor I saw is the worst in the practice he is so bloody rude and arrogant, luckily DH insisted on coming in with me.
He has put me on another drug and I have to go back and see him in a month, I don't want to, but needs must I suppose. The only good thing was that he filled in my DLA form for me but he missed a couple of things off
I have just finished the[STRIKE] book [/STRIKE] form and DH is going to read through it when he gets in from work.
To top that I had an opticians appointment and she said my glasses need changing she won't issue a prescription until my BG goes down ..........good because I can't afford nearly £400 for glasses every year. Then she said that she wants me checked out at the hospital eye clinic and has given me a letter to give to the surgery and one for me to take with me at my retinopathy screening next week.:wall:
I was hoping this year would be better healthwise
Hester I hope that DD is ok x
