Many of the houses down same street have converted their integral garages into extra living rooms. I'd just be intending keeping fridge/freezer in there, washing machine and then having the rest of the space free for car overnight in winter.
Be careful modern fridge freezers aren't designed to go in unheated spaces.0 -
