I have tried, but little success. I visited a EE store today, but was directed to phone support. I telephoned EE but was advised, as I did not purchase the handset directly from EE theres little they can do. I am in my final month of my contract with them.Trinidad - The hottest place to go0 -

I think EE will provide the code. If not, there's an ebay code for £31.31 :eek:

customer service advised me as I did not purchase the handset from them, they are unable to help, and suggested I return back to where I purchased the product. I contacted Argos, and Argos told me they do not unlock phones, AAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWTrinidad - The hottest place to go0

If you are not their customer, that makes sense. Didn't you say you were with them as TMobile?
Just top up with enough credit to allow the £20 unlock and it will be done by them.0 -
I am a T-Mobile customer already.
I have a monthly plan with them, so I pay line rental each month
I have given them 30 days notice recentlyTrinidad - The hottest place to go0 -

That's nonsense, its the network who unlocks their phones (as long as you are the original owner), phone them again and just request the unlock (don't confuse the issue by even mentioning the retailer).
If you get another agent which tries to fob you off ask for a supervisor.====0 -
I telephoned T-Mobile a few more occassions, and eventually customer service agreed to unlock the phone. I gave them the unique number for the handset and was told it will take exactly 20 days (10th February). T-Mobile said it was because they have to seek the code from Nokia. There is a charge of £20.47 which is not bad, as the cheapest I could find is one of those shaddy unlocking places which would do it for £30.00 or ebay about the same price. The unlocking thread did not have any free codes for my handset. I hope things go to planTrinidad - The hottest place to go0
