It's a VOIP from the USA as far as I'm awareIt's not just about the money0

Its totally legit, I have downloaded the app on Android, it works perfectly for calls but there are problems with receiving texts, hopefully that will be resolved soon.
Landline calls are totally free, you have to either earn or buy credits to call and text mobiles.0 -
I have downloaded the App to my Samsung Galaxy Y but I can't get to see any of the adverts, they just keep loading forever, even though I use wifi.
The calls to landlines do seem to be free including ringing the USA. Texts go out OK costing 3 credits but I sent one back from Giffgaff and it didn't arrive although I got charged for it.
I understand that Upptalk are aligned with Samba Mobile so I think they need to have a website where you can watch the ads similar to Samba's and it would be easier to sign up on a laptop rather than on the phones App. which is difficult.0 -

It's a shame that you keep deleting their posts as I'm sure they would have been interesting to read. We are trying to find information from them.0

I'm adamhayward as well and Upptalk will rip you off.
On the other hand the poster claiming to be other adamhayward could contact MSE asking for permission to post as the Upptalk representative. Then I would be exposed as a fraud.0 -

I rang a UK landline and I could hear the other person OK but he said the echo was driving him crazy. Is this a common problem with internet phoning and is there anything that can be done to eliminate the problem?0

If only you chose to follow the site rules and register as a company your posts wouldn't be deleted in the first place, Your reluctance to do so might be seen as an indication of the company's attitude.
It's actually in your favour to be a registered company on the site, it prevents people from wrongly claiming to represent yourselves.0
