When you reported to glassline, that will end up getting reported to your insurer direct (either immediately, or when the invoice turns up)

So is the insurer not interested in whether the damage was caused by accident, vandalism or break-in?

The invoice usually states the cause of the damage
  • Where I work they ask

"ANY accident, claim, theft, loss or glass claim in the last 3 years"

and people still refuse to declare windscreen as "its not a claim cos I'm fully comp mate"

    Well it is.
