hi
We used to be with sky, our broadband was great we are with another company who are charging us £4 a month with free weekend and evening calls
I cant complain about that, but the internet is poor, not so much with the computer but with the smart tv and trying to watch Netflix upstairs is bad
I have heard there is something I can buy to boost the connection
any suggestions
thankyou

A WiFi repeater may do what you want but how well it will work depends on your house layout and the positions of router and TV. There are several versions too with varying costs and convenience - wired - plain signal repeater - via homeplug.
Did this work well on Sky or is it something new that you are trying? Have you tried it with the TV box near to the router to rule out ISP problems?0 -
Pair of Homeplugs, or a wireless booster ( which is funny 'cos Sky supply them free), maybe your unspecified new provider does them. Mind you there is a reason why Talk Talk are cheap.
Have you tried a different wifi channel on the router? That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
You should test your actual internet speed first .
