You will probably be better off to use another switching site. CEC seems to be rubbish at doing anything except promising to switch you.How do I get Cheap Energy Club to change my status from "switch in progress" so that I can go back to the alternative quotes? Do I have to wait for npower to tell MSE (judging by some of the posts their record on prompt and accurate communication isn't good).

By coincidence just got a new annual statement from EDF. £100 in credit, and they're transferring it to my bank account next week without me even asking.Thought it only fair to highlight the good as well as the bad.0

I would go on blue price promise on edf, very good tariffDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

I changed from EDF last August and I am on the Feb 2015 Dual fuel deal and yes I think NPower are the best. Never any issues and that is because I check my meter reading on a regular basis and pay by variable dd each quarter. For me this is a brilliant company and the staff are second to none.0

Don't think that doing all those things will necessarily save you grief from their "system". It'll be interesting to hear how wonderful you think npower staff are when their system has gone nuts with your account.
