Someone parked in my driveway!

  • ^^That is not an excuse in my books. If you can't ask, you don't park in someone else's property especially when there is plenty of space in the road. And they have my phone number.

    It isn't your property.

Thought I would update you all.

It was my neighbour's son that parked on our drive as he was staying for the weekend. He thought we would not mind as it makes the house look like there is someone living in it.

While it is true that we don't mind, it would have been nice to have been asked first. I nearly gave birth last night I was so worried :o Oh well, panic over.

    Thanks everyone.

    What were you worried about?
Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.

Got to be honest I would be quite concerned if I came back to my house and found a car I didn't know parked up the drive way. I would also be blocking the car in checking the house out before i let myself in.

Even if you didn't live there?

All's well that ends well - clearly now you know who it was, there's no point in wasting blood pressure on this issue.

However, clearly it is a bit cheeky of the neighbour to just assume, regardless of whether the OP has moved out or not - especially as there is street parking available and they have contact details for the OP.

I admit I would be concerned if i saw an unknown vehicle on my drive... and seeing as the OP mentions that they are checking the house very regularly I'm going to assume they have reason to be concerned about security.

I've told you a million times to stop exaggerating.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.
