Someone parked in my driveway!

Not sure where to post this, please move if necessary.
We just bought and moved into a house after renting for a few months, but we are still responsible for the rental house for another 2 weeks. Landlord is aware we moved out and is fine with that and is already advertising it to find new tenants.
We go back every other day to the rental house to make sure everything is ok, well this evening I found a car parked on the driveway!
There was no one in the house and all was in order. Next door neighbours were out so I know it's not them. I'll go back tomorrow to see if it's still there, does anyone know what options I have to have it removed if it's still there? On a Saturday?
Don't want to call the Landlord in case he panics, at the same time I hope it is not him or a mate of his going to the house because he would be breaching the contract turning up like that without giving notice. It's not his car by the way, but you never know.
Looking for suggestions really. Thanks everyone.

How about a polite note on the windscreen pointing out it's on a private drive?0

Why not just ask your LL. He may have told a friend he could park on the drive. He could have thought it would look like someone was living there, making the property look more secure.0
-
Surely the LL can't do that without asking us first? We go back to the house all the time, he knows that. After all it's still ours?0

It could be anybody that knows you've moved out and has a mate round the corner ..... I'd not worry about it.
I'd do nothing.0 -
Possibly PaturesNew, but there is always plenty of parking space on the road, it does not make any sense.
Hubby is not worried because the house is fine. Oh well, hopefully tomorrow it will be gone...0 -
Thought I would update you all.
It was my neighbour's son that parked on our drive as he was staying for the weekend. He thought we would not mind as it makes the house look like there is someone living in it.
While it is true that we don't mind, it would have been nice to have been asked first. I nearly gave birth last night I was so worriedOh well, panic over.
Thanks everyone.0 -

Maybe you weren't there to be asked.0 -
^^That is not an excuse in my books. If you can't ask, you don't park in someone else's property especially when there is plenty of space in the road. And they have my phone number.0
