virgin media advance line rental confusion

Last year i paid ALR and was told my total monthly charges including ALR were £41.
Few weeks later i phoned to remove one of features in my bundle and VM told me my monthly service charges were ..£31:j - hehe i'm £10 better off thru their error :j.However, i mistakenly then thought the "£10 deducted" was the ALR- but £2 was a feature i removed -so leaving on bill "a £8 promo offer" - so it can't be ALR
Checked VM bills for the first ALR and £31 shows on "Your package total".However on contracts it has been £39 "monthly service charges" - but that is only £8 difference - surely it should be £10 and therefore £29 per month?
Just recently , i again paid ALR and was told my total monthly charges
were £27.So when i phoned i asked if this meant actually £17per month to be debited , but they said no it "was £27 which includes ALR" - so this would mean i actually paying £37 per month?
Or have i tied myself up in knots?

its normally -14.99 from your total monthly charge.
For example if you were paying 41 pounds before advance line rental than its 41 minus 14.99= £26.01
so you should be paying 26.01. however if you make changes to you bundle than sometimes you loose loyalty discount and your charges go up0 -
-14.99 makes for £150 line rental ?-when i am paying £120 (hence my calculation of -10.00
When i removed the mobile call package - i was told this was simply a -£2 off the bill -there was nothing about losing loyalty discount
VM emailed me - and despite me explicitly explaining the problem all they did was tell me how much i was paying with no mention whatsoever of Advance Line Rental.Unfortuantely the email seemed to be from their Indian centers who previously told me i was not eligible for Advance Line Rental because i was already getting loyalty discounts.0 -
last time i checked my bill it was showing as -14.99 but you only pay 10 like you said 120 divde by 12=100

I'm getting a £12 confusing loyalty bonus -which makes no mention of ALR and for ALR it shows
Phone line rental total £0.00 -really ? when it is working out at £10 pm? That's rather disingenuous
These are 2 replies i got off VM -all they do is repeat bill details and at no point clarify ALRental
We've checked your account and can see that the total monthly charge for
> your services was £39.14.
>
> We can see that you've added the line rental saver offer on the 4th
> April 2014. We can see that you've also upgraded your Telephone package
> from Talk Unlimited to Talk Unlimited Extra on the 12th April 2014 and
> your monthly service charge was £31.15.
We understand your concern about getting this sorted out.
