Civil Parking Notice

Can anyone please give me some advice regarding a parking ticket i received last night?
It was issued from the Car Parking Partnership.
Car Park Attendant has reasonable cause to believe that a civil parking notice has been incurred because Code 07 , Parked so as to obstruct or inconvenience to others.
A charge of £100.00 is due within 28 days of date issued or a discount of £60.00 if received within 14 days.
The road I was parked on was a private road but i wasn't obstructing anything or inconveniencing others.
Can anyone tell me if i can just tell them to get lost or should this be taken seriously?
Thanks

Once you have read the linked FAQs advice please let us know if you have any queries while awaiting your Notice to Keeper.
See this thread for a similar situation - he has sent a decent appeal to the first letter he got - except CPP may not have even sent this poster a NTK:

If you search the forum for 'Partnership' as a keyword you'll find loads of threads about CPP. You should be looking to appeal once you get the first letter (whatever it is called) not now. But read the sticky thread advice!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
