It was a joy to follow that link and read the thread after finally getting my fractious kids off to sleep. At the end of days like today, there's something wonderfully calming about seeing other people's children arguing instead of your own

Thanks Fay, Soo, Windswept and everyone who took the time to post their views, I admit to being slightly relieved that it is not just me after all, who avoids the place.
A 'bear pit' sems to me to be very apt.
One can only hope ebay eventually take control and apply whatever sanctions they can to remove those who deliberately disrupt and abuse others.
