She didn't the other post was removed, seems because the owner of the website mentioned complained. Poor on MSE to remove topics / threads because of bad customer service!
OP, you should look into taking the company to court!0 -
So we should avoid www.cheapdisabilityaids.co.uk

This is his forum too under a totally different name that he uses to ....er.. " suggest" his own products ,from cheap disability aids
http://www.parentsofdisabledchildren.co.uk/
On his main site he offers people the chance to win £50 In a competition if they review his products!
How biased are those reviews going to be.
Seems unethical to me.
I notice someone with 1 post has " recommended"
https://www.parentsofdisabledchildren.co.uk on the disability board
So I've put a link to this thread as a warning
I notice that poster had the same first name followed by the first letter of their sirname as the company secretary of

Is this due to the owner not being happy about www.cheapdisabilityaids.co.uk getting very poor feedback about its customer service? Be careful, OP, or you will find that they will no longer discuss the matter with you and will tell you that in order for you to get a replacement you will have to take them to court, and he will want to charge you £150 for his time. This happened to another poster who had an almost identical issue with www.cheapdisabilityaids.co.uk.
A completely different poster also had problems with www.disabilityaids.co.uk andposted about it on www.cheapdisabilityaids.co.uk forum, but they found that they also had their post removed and were banned. Luckily they had a suspicion that this may happen so they made a copy of their postat http://cheapdisabilityaids.net/
These companies charge a huge markup or items for the disabled and it really pees me off when they have such bad customer service.
I recall that he wanted to charge £150 AN HOUR for his time and it was suggested these were aggressive and misleading practices to put off the OP on that thread taking the matter further. Not nice.:(0 -

I had issues with this site myself and did some digging too. The main selling site leads to a facebook page with a different name but specifically calling the items advertised on facebook as "our" items. So we can assume some link there. That facebook page like someone has said is called:
https://www.facebook.com/parentsofdisabledchildren
That particular page leads to a Forum which appears to be for the benefit of parents of disabled children that has a moderator called.....(text removed by MSE Forum Team).
http://www.parentsofdisabledchildren.co.uk/
Having had a peak (but not joined) I was disgusted to see posts requesting donations for disabled children apparently trying to get toys, equipment etc. If this is another scam, it is utterly disgusting and should be shut down right away. I feel sorry for any genuine people who joined this for real community.0 -
So Rooosters72 what problem did you have with cheapdisabilityaids / sensory education limited ?
He's featured on BBC watchdog no less than THREE times with previous companies.
There are numerous other threads about him.0 -
This is (text removed by MSE Forum Team) whole ploy, to have a forum for parents of disabled children and shove his crap items up their noses whilst they are totally unaware of it0
-
So, in case your post is removed Roosters72, you ordered multiple items from sensory education limited but he charged you 3.99 per item while putting them into one bag? And thought that was ok.0
