Am curious though - what was the puzzle that led to this answer (above)? How can you make up for being late, by leaving early? Seems such an odd thing to say....

EDIT: oh wait, does it mean leave early from where you came from, in order to not be late next time....

It's one of those sayings like "you don't have to be mad to work here but it helps". You can get it on mugs/t-shirts/posters eg. HERE
