Posting comps info for the new forum layout,
hi, hope it's ok to add some information for the
puzzler.com threads regarding the new layout forum,
in the new layout (forum) which is now implemented
the ' title ' box doesn't show with the dates/
Magazine issue etc on the threads,
they just show the information given in the reply box,
so any one using the new layout can't see which
magazine name/issue number/end date the post is for
unless it's added in the reply box as well,
big thanks to all our lovely
posters who provide us with the answers & comps :A
& would it be ok to ask if you could kindly add the
E: Date/magazine issue & name/number
in the body of the reply post so the peeps using the new forum layout
can see which mag/date ending the comps are for,
big thanks if you can help with doing this x

Please make sure you check the Comp ID Number
with the Op's post.

Occasionally, when you enter the comps for a particular magazine you will notice that maybe some of the answer boxes are already completed,
this happens because it has been supplied with the answer
from either an online comp you have completed or another puzzler magazine you have already entered from with
the same Comp Id number.
(Sometimes Puzzler runs the same comps across a
few of their puzzle mags).

Posting Comps

1 How can I find comps to post on here, I’ve entered loads & want to give some back?

Regular compers on MSE already post the daily ITV comps & will arrange for someone to cover them if they aren't going to be around - because the search facility won't pick something up for at least 30 mins after posting, please remember that regular posters will probably already have this in hand!
Also, the magazine comps that have their own threads will have lists of people that buy the magazines, answer the puzzles then post the answers on here for others. Please respect these existing posters as it is their money they are handing over to buy the mags & give us the answers. If you are interested in helping out or posting a particular magazine then either post in that mags thread or if you can't find the actual thread then post in the Compers Chat Corner Board to ask about it & another comper will be along to help point you in the right direction.

At the end of the day, no comper 'owns the right' to post a particular comp but please take a moment, have a look around & ask in the Compers Chat Corner Board, if necessary, to ask if there is a regular poster for a particular comp. Let's keep this a friendly place to play, avoid duplication & misunderstandings

Tips from members who have been kind enough to share

if pasting + copying the 'Submit' button
will not show, you have to take the last
letter/number off and type it in,
the 'Submit' button should then appear in the
top right hand corner (in IE anyway)
or press enter and it will appear

Tip from Amilucky?
Or you can click in one of the

boxes with your mouse pointer and press enter on
your keyboard and the submit button will appear

Tip from Abbafan just press your right hand
arrow key on your keyboard and the submit box
should appear

Tip from teampotnoodle
When you paste, if you use Ctrl + v to paste into the answer box,
the submit icon becomes live and no need to backspace.
I find this really helpful when doing some multi entry line like the crossword solutions.
I Use Ctrl C, then Ctrl V and that way I can do it without having to look at the keyboard.

It's easier just to press the space bar after the last copy and paste. The submit button should come up then.

Opening two pages together

For non typists,
If you open 2 browser pages side by side,
One open with this page, and the other with the Puzzler page,
you can drag & drop the answers from here to the Puzzler page.
(To open another browser, Right mouse click on the link given & choose open in new Window)
you still need to knock off & retype one letter at the end of one answer to get the submit button to work.
Hope I don't seem like I'm "teaching my grandmother to suck eggs", but if I can help just one person, its worth while.

Log into puzzler.com, click on Puzzles, Kriss Kross, Competitions, select Comp 11628.


To complete a Kriss Kross puzzle: select word from those listed to the right, then select a place on the grid. If you make any mistakes, select the word on the grid, then press delete. Once completed, the word Submit will appear at the top. Click on this and you're done.

im really sorry everyone ive not been able to get issue puzzler collection 334 and the next issue is out in a couple of days if anyone has it to hand i would appreciate the answers posting for me and ill get straight n the next one as soon as its out , looks like my subs have run out !!! so sorry everyone had a lot on !!
