Security app that prevents a sim being changed?

I am almost certain that I set something up on my Huawei G300 to prevent the sim being changed. I thought it was in Prey Project, but I've just looked at the settings and can't see anything there.

I also have Lookout AV on the phone.

Any idea what it might be?

What's the point in preventing this?

So that in the event the phone was stolen, it couldn't be used with another sim.

Simply resetting the phone back to its factory settings will easily solve any issues about putting in a new simcard.

Cerberus emails you when a different sim is inserted. It can also log the calls that are made and give you a location. Pretty clever!

I believe that WaveSecure will lock the phone when an unknown SIM is inserted, but as mentioned above, a factory reset will clear it.

Cerberus doesn't stop an unauthorised SIM being used, but it will send you data about the SIM, and if you install it right it will survive a factory reset and keep tracking.

I still don't see what the point is as you don't benefit from this in any way
However, if you really want to disable it permanently just report it stolen and ask to get it blocked.
  • can i suggest - and this is not facetious:
