    Thanks Beanie.

Hi CBC! Good to hear from you. I just respond to invitations as soon as they turn up in my email box - and I really do mean "soon as". It does vary, though, June was a noticeable high, its not always that many. When I get a gap, I do an Oracle survey to get the ball rolling again.

The rat problem is subsiding, true, but I did hear *one* bout of scratching earlier this week, so I know they're not gone. And after what pest control guy said about flies flocking to my loft to overwinter because they live in the garden, I *am* noticing a lot of flies in the garden. Another reason to work hard on the weeding :( I didn't do anything at all yesterday, though, I actually went to bed for 3 hours :(

CBC, sorry you've had family issues going on - I'm glad you popped in here. I'm off to see my sister soon, and the new bus service isn't as flexible as I thought, so I have to get a shift on - there's a bus at 0955, and the next is 1242!!! Very odd ... better than nothing, though.

Hope everyone has a good day.

I didn't go to my sister's - family toing and froing meant I'd need to get the 2nd bus and I just didn't feel well enough - spent the day in bed in the end.

Much better today, but not planning anything till Wednesday. I *have* done an order from sainsbo for delivery tomorrow, and because its so soon, I paid a £2 delivery charge, not £1 :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

But I had a £3 voucher, and got £1 off the big peanut butter tub I use, plus "my" pesto has gone down from £1.25 to £1, so win-win :j

I'm doing very little today - might sit in the garden after I have a shower, and later I'll finish off the summary work for an Old Style thread I volunteered to do. Plus the money from the Post Office is back with me, so I'll start putting it to the new saver account with them, and getting it earning money, however pitiful.

Net Worth calculations at the end of the week :)

Only did half of what I thought I might do. Ah well.

Two developments. One is good: I'm thinking I've been affected so badly by the walk I went on last Friday because of an allergic/hyper-immune reaction of some sort? It *feels* like that, and I commented on it at the time, I remember now.

One development is bad. As I checked emails this evening, I had *three* from the management company in France saying they won't manage the block from the end of this December. There's a lot more, but I don't have the heart to translate it right now. I can see months/years of faffing - and this sort of thing is why I don't count the blasted thing in my Net Worth - if I sell it for £20k, after having bought it for 5 times as much, I'll count myself lucky :(

Sadly as you know the prices in France are just in total freefall.

Absolutely. And if the block has no management :( I can't believe I'd *ever* find a buyer.

Plus the laptop fan, which I hadn't replaced yet because I got ill on Friday, is yowling at me all the time, it sounds awful.

Plus my anti-virus has just gone kablooey all over my computer - so I've gone back to basics and I'm just installing Microsoft Security Essentials, recommended by Martin if you run Windows 7, but its taking forever.

Rubbish about the French place Karma - you do so well on managing everything to do with it.

Thank you all :) I'd really rather be dealing with my fictional apocalypse right now, but I have my own real life mini version, as outlined yesterday :o so I'd better get to it.

At least the dishwasher worked this morning  you have to take your blessings where you find them. I'll look around on the forum for a bit, then get to work, and be back later with a bit of a ta-da list. Hopefully
