Well, a bit of a ta-da list, not as much as I hoped:

    - signed the petition asking that DT doesn't meet the Queen - hundreds of people a minute are signing it, and its nearly at 1.2 **million** now :) I read this poem: http://writersalmanac.publicradio.org/index.php?date=2007/05/18 a very personal version of this well-known one: http://veni.com/articles/firsttheycameforme.html

    - some more scanning and throwing out

    - last set of AA batteries are being recharged: my computer mouse, my doorbell, and my cordless phones all have needs :rotfl:

    - started on the French-accounts-for-France. The paperwork is very confusing about the amount of interest included in the mortgage amount, the format changed in the middle of last year, and its all a bit tricky.

    - washing machine is on. Again.

Morning El! Just posted on yours - a long one that will give Z no end of ammunition :j:j:j

Didn't get as much done as I wanted, yesterday (what else is new) but not bad, especially as I girded my loins about 8pm and almost finished the French accounts, including finding the right monthly interest figures to enter. Sun newspaper tokens for the holibob are all collected, I don't need to use the washing machine again before I leave on Thursday. Couldn't sleep, so I readied some more of the gone-mouldy papers and letters to photo and get out of the house.

    So now, here I am:
    - check HMRC
    - finish off French figures, find the French form, scan the documents and send them over to my French accountant. I love that this doesn't cost me postage any more :j all done on the interwebulator.
    - I made a good start on weeding yesterday, but the situation is terrible :rotfl: especially more than a foot away from where I can stand :p I need to do an hour a day indefinitely.

Okay, that'll do - faffing about with tax returns, and the weeding and the scanning-then-throwing out.

    Right:
    - HMRC have processed the latest tax return and taken the money due from my overpayment. Still leaves me £326 with them, and as there's nothing due in July 2017, I'll take that money back as a refund tomorrow. I think their systems might be a bit busy today!

    - finished the French listings for France, and logged on to my French accountant - they've really upped their game in terms of their website, I can send the documents direct to them via the website, don't even need to bother with my contact's email. Progress!

    - got to go offline now to sit in my office and do some printing and scanning. Finally making progress on all this :j

Yes, I think so, greent, finally :j

Couldn't submit the French tax form - teeny weeny amount of euros I get charged for the bank account and if I don't get the form, I'll need to send every bank statement. I can, but I'd rather not, so I've emailed the bank, and we'll see.

Did some nosing around the FCA for my sister, bringing the house sale money back from France.

Did maybe an hour in the garden, filled a black bag with rubbish thats too dangerous to put into the compost bin :D ie it will root anywhere :rotfl: ivy, brambles, grass and the like :rotfl: er, no nitroglycerine :D

I think I really need to do as much as I can before the end of the tax year - somehow that doesn't seem as awful as doing it at this stage :p

I've had a good long rest, so I need to do a bit more now, so that I sleep tonight. We'll see.

Derail happened because I've heard that Iceland aren't taking those Bonus vouchers that Eon gave me? So I need storage space, because I have £25 worth and I'm not splashing that sort of money, I want that on essentials. Might put the dehydrator to early use.

Back later with a ta-da list.

    Morning Karmacat.

Just noticed your post so have checked the Bonusbond website and Iceland are listed as taking the paper vouchers we send as part of the E.ON Rewards scheme. There's a full list of organisations that accept these vouchers on our website in the Help and Support section (please choose the paper vouchers option as these are what we send rather than the Gift Cards). If your local Iceland store has rejected the vouchers, might be an idea to raise this directly with Bonusbond.

Don't know if you've heard but we're stopping the Rewards scheme from 31 March 17. There's more on our website but thought it might help to put some information on here.

Customers on our standard Energy Plan will keep earning Reward points up to 31 March 17. They'll need to exchange them for either Tesco Clubcard points or High Street Shopping Vouchers by 30 June 17.

It's a bit different for customers on Fixed Tariffs. Here, all the Reward points they would've built up during their fixed period will be given up-front. These customers have 2 years to exchange their points. They have longer as this was agreed in the terms and conditions of their tariff. We're writing to these customers at the moment to let them know.

We've also lowered the amount of points customers need to exchange for shopping vouchers. Previously, 500 points were needed to earn a £5 voucher. Now, customers can exchange for a £1 voucher when they reach 100 points.

Hope this is of interest Karmacat and have a good day.

Hello Malc, yes - but an online friend had an email with this information.

In other news, I've realised another way to clear phone space (reffing the I-can't-receive-any-texts shenanigans - I'm photographing a couple of exchanges of texts with clients from my former business and then deleting them. Just in case I get any problems with them further down the line - my insurance company carries on insuring retired counsellors for a reason, after all

Just done two YouGov surveys in the past few days - gah, I thought I had more points, am now on 3655. Over the hump, anyway :)

Can't submit the French accounts before I go away - the bank charges thing is being sent by post :( but at least I'm *ready* to send it.

Very grey and rainy here today, but not currently raining :j so I'm going to do a bit of weeding *now* :j

    Hope everyone's having a good day :)

Hello Karmacat and you're right. We're contacting customers about the end of our Rewards scheme by either letter or email depending on the preferences customers have given and if we've a valid email address.

Another full binbag of weeded stuff - mostly self seeded laurel escaping from the hedge to the garden  bramble  and long, long grass :rotfl:

Been umming and aahing for ages about what to do next ... blog posts! Blogs currently look abandoned :o will fix that - and reward myself with a 2nd cup of coffee - which is a "hen's teeth" type event :)
