The problem with diagnostics is they often point to a symptom rather than a cause. As Colino has said, although the diagnostic said there was a problem with the MAF, the actual problem could be in the ECU or be caused by an air leak - there could even be a problem in the wiring harness. in my opinion, and I will probably be shot down here, we are ending up with more parts fitters and less good mechanics. Parts are being ripped out and replaced until the problem.

You get through some amount of cars for a 19 year old. 12 days ago you had a Golf R32 V6. What happened to that?

How many used car dealers buy a car on finance?

So that's a Jaguar to add to the collection :rotfl:

Mind you back in July when he was 20 ( he's got younger since then  ) he tried to rent a Mercedes C63 AMG off Gumtree but got arrested for carrying a knife. Apparently.

  • I had a similar problem with my last car, a Renault clio. It certainly wasn't a quick fix and in the end needed over 1k of work. It ended being a problem with the exhaust system but the coils needed changing too. I hope you've got your fingers crossed.
An opinion is just that..... An opinion

Oh grow a pair, you big tit! The car was not a jaguar, but a car that was sold to a jag dealer as part ex.

No chargers were brought against knife incident. NO COMMENT was said throughout interview, plod had no choice but to drop the case.

Yeah the part link posted above that i bought, was the bloody wrong one, i believe the name of the part is a manifold inlet sensor or something like that, really smart part near that's near the manifold.

Turns out the old one on mine had been sticked down with glue!!! !!!!!!! Hopefully no more issues with the car now, was drinking a lot on petrol so hopefully none of this.

Car over revs, but that's do with the clutch.

So you spent £1000 on an exhaust for a car you didn't buy, when you make these stories up you need to remember what you have posted in the past.

    Stop being a bit tit.

More personal abuse, you have had posts deleted in the past for that.

It is amazing how many things you apparently go to buy but then change your mind and get your money back, cars, exhausts, anything else?
