Hi everyone I signed up for virgin xl kit ie tv,broadband, phone on 1st nov with 6 months at half price.
Now I received an email from virgin stating my bill would increase by about £6 from the 1st of feb.
I have been having really dire speeds with the broadband and I'm really thinking of cancelling it and going with bt
I want to keep the tv but get rid of the phone and broadband can I cancel them due to the price increase or do I have to wait for the 18 month contract to expire

You have 30 days from when you were notified. As most of those emails went out at least a month ago you may well be too late to cancel penalty free. I don't think you can take TV only.0

You can only cancel all under the price increase, you cannot selectively cancel elements.
As mentioned though, it might be too late to cancel under the price change depending on when exactly you were sent the notification.0 -
What the hell has pigdrive got to do with this
Anyway I digress surely I have a right to the fact that during 6-11 which I know is when they throttle the network I'm achieving 0.14mb-4.57mb which is far below what they advertise and a latency of 223-400 which is no good for playing games online with an xbox one I have a right to cancel surely0 -
It's just a spammer. Hit the SPAM button. If enough do that the post will be deleted automatically.
VM only apply light traffic management. If your speeds fall to the sort of levels you mention then it is congestion.0
