hello. I ordered a dress and a jumper. The dress is on its way but the jumper was out of stock. I was under the impression id get a refund but looking back at the emails itdoesnt actually say the jumper order was cancelled. Does that mean they will dispatch at a later day or it has been cancelledit might not be much, but its better than a kick in the teeth:rotfl:

You probably haven't paid for anything yet. They only send what they have and normally you get charged once you receive it. Anything that is oos does not get sent when they have it.0

Yes they only take payment once the goods are sent...in my case I had recd them before the cash left my account...so very happy0

Hi- Does anyone know how to return an item to RL? I didn't receive anything with the order about returns. I have contacted them by email and have waited over 72hrs for a reply (not got one yet). I am on the phone to them now but have so far been waiting 38 minutes on hold! Infuriating!0

Interestingly I finally got through to RL and was told that no returns slip was included as they were not planning to accept any returns (apparently code was supposed to be for employees only but was leaked!).
I guess they realised they would be in breach of the Distance Selling Regs and have now U-turned. With that in mind they will ONLY refund items and NOT exchange anything. Does anyone know if they can legally do this? I have 4 pairs of jeans that are too big and really want to exchange!
Please help!!0 -

Have just spoken to customer services, and they are emailing me the returns form and returns label later this evening. Bloody cheek not including the forms with the parcel, and all because we used a discount code! Two of the items I ordered were full price, so only 1 actually had the discount applied, so they are pulling this little stunt with everyone.
I also emailed them twice, and had no response, so had to make 3 phone calls just to get through to a human being. Funny how I got through on when I chose the option for help with ordering!0 -

Hi! Did you manage to get through? After being on hold for almost 15mins after choosing option 2, I rang again and chose option 3. Someone picked up after 7 minutes.
Good luck!0 -

They will refund you on any items that you want to return. However, they will not exchange any of the discounted items for a different size. And yes, they can legally do this and alot of companies do the same. They are only obliged to refund you on items that you don't want within a certain time period.0
