Has anyone sent a secure message to iii in the last couple of weeks? I'm now in my third week and have yet to receive any reply from these clowns.0

Has anyone sent a secure message to iii in the last couple of weeks? I'm now in my third week and have yet to receive any reply
I wrote to the Customer Services Manager on 17th. June, (yes, an old fashioned letter written on paper, sent by Royal Mail and delivered 18th. June); and guess what ?
I haven't received so much as an acknowledgement.
Today, unfortunately, I have sent an official complaint; I feel that if I am so unimportant as to even deserve the courtesy of a reply, then I really don't want to give them my business.
For me, being ignored by the company I am paying good money to is even worse than the length of time the transfer is taking.
Laughably, on the 24th. April, they messaged me to apologise for the length of time the transfer process was taking, and here we are two and a half months later and still only two of seven funds have moved over.0 -

Exactly! This is what !!!!es me off the most with this company. I'm already ready to leave them but can't start a new transfer until the existing one has completed.
Does anyone know if I need to receive a final response from iii before I can complain to the FOS or do I just have to wait 8 weeks from my initial complaint?0 -
I must congratulate iWeb, The transfers from HL have been taking as long as everybody elses, but iWeb are always available by phone or online chat to update me.
They even phoned me back this week (twice) with an upate on the progress, pestered HL to get some information imput correctly, and now it looks like all should be done in a week.0 -
My wife has just one fund left to appear and a smattering of cash to transfer. Then I need to reconcile everything 'cos the numbers of units don't match.I am not a financial adviser and neither do I play one on television. I might occasionally give bad advice but at least it's free.
Like all religions, the Faith of the Invisible Pink Unicorns is based upon both logic and faith. We have faith that they are pink; we logically know that they are invisible because we can't see them.0 -
Hi,
gosh, here's another wee thing that bugs me during hiatus in the transfer process:
I've lost about 3 month loyalty bonus from HL and no bonus from II, so, the provider must've saved a good bit during the transfer process, as not paying any commission to either.0 -

Interesting
Here's my HL to IWEB experience
12/2/14 opened account with IWEB & completed S&S xfer form. Only fund in my ISA; VLS 100%.
15/2/14 Complaint to HL re exit charges via secure message
17/2/14 IWEB acknowledge receipt of transfer request; they have contacted HL for ISA valuation
19/2/14 HL response to complaint – will waive transfer charges if request received within 1 month
14/3/14 IWEB letter ‘HL unable to action transfer request at this time; will continue to contact HL’
17/3/14 bought further £2k VLS in HL (Big mistake as this seems to have screwed things somewhat?)
18/4/14 after live chats with IWEB & secure messages to HL, bulk of VLS disappeared from HL & appeared on IWEB (but did not include the £2k above)
28/4/14 uninvested cash disappeared from HL & appeared IWEB 29/4/14
After secure messages to HL, 12/5/14 remaining £2k VLS disappeared from HL
15/5/14 – 27/5/14 live chats with IWEB; secure messages and phone calls to HL
27/5/14 HL letter to say S&S ISA transfer to IWEB now complete!
Further live chats with IWEB & secure messages and phone calls to HL, in which both basically told me to chase the other. Eventually HL had given me the deal ref and date of the transfer of missing £2k. IWEB failed to make promised call to update me, and incorrectly reduced my ISA 2014/15 subscription limit by the amount I’d subscribed 2013/14.
4/6/14 IWEB letter – transfer from HL complete, but £2k still missing!
7/6/14 Complaint to IWEB re missing units, incorrect subscription limit, and failure to update me as promised.
27/6/14 after several phone calls from IWEB and further admin error involving incorrect book value, my account was finally correct with IWEB. They upheld my complaint and paid me a small amount of compensation.

As promised by iWeb, all shares, ITs, ETFs and Funds were transfered and present and correct in my iWeb account on Monday. Three funds were also converted to clean class (dated 15th July).
Just the cash to transfer (iWeb said that would be last) and we are done.0 -
A few months ago, I opted to complain to HL about their revised charges. They offered me discounted fees (0.25% instead of 0.45%) to stay; so I stayed.
However, checking my HL account this week I found that they have in fact been charging me 0.45%.
So, my message to any HL customers who were offered a 'special' rate is: check your account! The figures are tucked away, so here's how:
Login to HL.
Choose one of your accounts.
Click the Account Adminstration tab.
Click View history of fees charged.
Click the fee transaction that you wish to view.
It should show a breakdown of the fees by percentage and investment type. Check you are getting the fee that you were offered!!! Repeat for each of your HL accounts (NISA, SIPP, etc).0
